Achievement Program

The Dance Vision International Dance Association (DVIDA) Medal Achievement Program is organized twice a year. It provides students with clear goals that gives a focus to their dance education.  It also helps students get more value out of their private lessons. In general, students who learn and are part of the Medal Achievement Program feel much more confident on the dance floor and have better technique than students who take lessons only for social dancing. The program provides students with feedback and measures progress in both dance styles – International (Standard and Latin) and American (Smooth and Rhythm), as well as,  the Social Dances like Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Hustle and West Coast Swing.  After demonstrating their proficiency in front of a credentialed judge, students receive a Certificate of Achievement from DVIDA. The certificate proves that they achieved a national and international standard of quality for their dance level. Each Medal Achievement event is a milestone that marks the completion of one level and opens the door to the next.
